Maria T. Guarnieri
Ms. Guarnieri graduated summa cum laude from St. John's University (St. Vincent's College) in 1992, and cum laude from Brooklyn Law School in 1996. Prior to being associated with this firm, she served as a Law Clerk and Courtroom Deputy for Magistrate Judge Leonard A. Bernikow in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. Ms. Guarnieri has represented clients in many aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hours, contract negotiations and civil service. She has also represented small employers before the New York State Department of Labor in wage matters and has worked on class actions involving constitutional issues and government agencies. Ms. Guarnieri is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars, and is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association, and the National Employment Lawyers' Association.
